Default A few questions

Hello all. I usually run auto-x at the local SCCA events and was thinking about attending the event on the 26th at Devens. I was just wondering how many runs you guys usually get in, I would assume more than the 6 or so at the SCCA events because you limit attendance to 55 cars. Is there any difference in the way your events are run, or is it the same work, break, run rotation? As far as car numbering/class goes, do you guys require just the number displayed on the car, or do you require the class as well? I have a few friends who haven't auto-x'd before, but might want to try it out. Do you guys allow co-driving cars? Will you guys be using the alternate entrance to the site by the national guard entrance?

Thanks,

Seth

It can be as many as 10 runs depending on the turnout.

Seth,we typically get about 8-10 runs in. The itinerary is similar to other autox groups...run, work, break , repeat. Because our run groups are smaller your work session is shorter, usually a little over an hour. We don't require class designation, just numbers on your car. Our classes are a little less complicated than most other groups. Our main focus is maximum seat time so our courses are also typically longer than most. With registration numbers of 45 or more will use the long loop at Devens which yields course lengths of almost two miles. Yes, we do allow co-driven cars just make note at registration. We, like all the groups at Devens this year, use the alternative entrance. Regitration is handled through Motorsportreg

I hope to see you there
